Dan Marino just came on tv and he says burger exactly the same way as Tony. Kinda weird.
I cant ever sleep anymore. I just take 2 hour naps sporatically throughout the day. It sucks. The one night I was getting a good, full night of sleep my psycho roommate had to wake me up in the middle of it to let me know she was back. Back from the loony bin, seriously. Damn I was pissed. It was one of those I've never been more comfortable in my life sleeps too.
Had our bowling league last night. We tore it up.

Sweet baseball tonight is on. I'm out.

Tony can throw a bowling ball like 70mph.

Haven't updated this thing in like a year and i'm bored so here we go. My life is pretty crazy as of late. Really crazy actually. Everything going alright though. Been working a lot lately but also doing a lot of fun stuff. Went on a 2 day canoe trip last weekend with Shirk, his bro, Doug, Bean and his bro. It was a blast. Hang out with Tim all the time but he will be leaving soon so that blows. We have a bowling league on wednesday nights, that is a blast. My Detroit Tigers are in a pennant race and thats amazing. Its nice to have a big fan base back but it also disgusts me how many people have jumped on the band wagon. They haven't been suffering, waiting for this breakout year their whole lives like people like me and gromek. Fuck part-time fans. Also, its football season so you know I'm in my glory. Thank god for sports, the only thing that gets me through life.
So yeah, work = sucks ass, most everything else = crazy and kinda fucked up but good, girl situation = really crazy...who knows what the fuck will happen.

On another note, Tony licks taint.
I'll probably update more often. Until then......

thanksgiving break

the couple days i went home were nothing short of awesome. Got back into town around 2:15 or so and called the guys...they were just getting back to Shirks place from the bar so I met them there, had a beer...a shot...took the edge off. Woke up and did all the thanksgiving stuff with the family and was done with that by 5:30. After that went over to Shirks place to start getting stuff ready for the party and drinking a little. By getting stuff done I mean me and Shirk cleaned up some stuff on the basement floor...that took about 5 minutes then we played foosball until people got there. Partied hard...drank a shit ton of beer. Woke up friday morning and had to go put up the christmas tree with my mom then make the drive back up here. It was a blast though. Christmas break should be even more fun.

its been quite a while since i've updated this thing. Probably because there really hasnt been anything too interesting to write. Do the same old shit every week....work, party, watch sports. Thats about it.

Lions won sunday, Joey looked pretty good actually. Finally he moved around in the pocket and a little bit out of the pocket as well. Thats what he needs to do. Hopefully this win carries over to next week against Dallas.
Pistons 6-0. Only undefeated team in the NBA. And all those stupid NBA analysts are saying we wont even get to the Eastern Conference Finals. Idiots. We will make it to the NBA Finals and win. We've upgraded our team from last year and now have a coach who lets our offense score. Im not saying anything bad about LB, he got us a title, but I think Flip is a good fit here.

this weekend should be alright. We'll see how everything goes. Pretty pumped up to tailgate though...havent done that in a while.
Lions 2-2 now. I predict we will go 10-6 this season. We need to beat Carolina this weekend. It would be a huge boost for our team and further our lead in the NFC North division.

This time of year I wish I was back home at night around a bonfire looking at the stars with someone special. Hopefully someday I'll get to have that. If not whatever I just wish I could know now. Someday.....

Looks like in February I'll be heading back to the St. Clair area. Kinda sad about this but kinda excited. I definately do not want to leave all of my friends up here. That will be horrible. But I am excited for things like getting to go to my little brothers little league games, watching him play football, teaching him.....all that stuff a big brother gets to do. I havent been able to do that stuff with him very much in hte past few years. Shit I'm the little guy's hero (he's 12) and I dont call him but once every couple weeks. Kinda makes me feel like a bad brother. I'm also excited to see my little sister get through her senior year of high school. See her go to prom, put the fear of death in the guy that takes her, stuff like that. Stuff I've been kind of missing out on. Fuck I'm gonna miss it here though. Big time.

lately everything has been crazy. Going out all the damn time...too much in fact. It has been a blast though. Very disappointed with how the Lions are playing but we'll get a win next week agains Baltimore. Baseball playoffs start today. Fucking awesome.

This past weekend I went to the shirkey cabin with Dan and his dad. It was a blast.

Saturday we went golfing...we all started out golfing pretty crappy until we got a lot of beer in us...then we all played better. After golfing and getting messed up we headed to the bar and caught the end of the U of M, MSU game...none of us could really see at this point but it was fun. Then we went back to the cabin and continued to get messed up the rest of the night.

Sunday morning...well noon or so dan and I went into town to buy beer and a couple other things...naturally we stop at the bar first for a tall delicious beer then finally made it to the store and back. Got back and got in the boat and went fishing all day until just before it got dark. It was great. Fish were biting pretty good. All of us caught at least 10 fish...only 6 keepers total though. Later on while we were at the store mr. shirkey cleaned the fish and we later deep fried it. Absolutely delicious. Awesome weekend it was.

clear skies all weekend it was great. Saw 1 shooting star. Cant reveal the wish or it wont come true. Alright I'm out

yep, I'm back. Sick as balls the past few days. It sucked ass. Couldn't go out on thursday and that sucked too. Tony said he had a great time so i wish i could have gone. Ah well there will be plenty more thursdays.

First week agains the pack we played great.
This week not so great. Much work to be done in the bye week. I'm not happy. We should be 2-0. No reason for that horrible display.

MLB race is getting really fun. I hope the cleveland indians overtake the white sox. I wonder who will win the wild card in the AL and NL. It's so close its great.

On a non sports related topic this is definately the best time of the year. All the leaves are changing, the weather is cooling down, its just great. Its awesome to be outside at night in jeans and a hoody and be perfectly comfortable. I love it. Fall is definately the best season of the year.

NFL starts thursday. Cant wait. We play the Packers on sunday at 4:05. We will win. Guaran-sheed. Lots of booze lately. It's been fun. Tim has been going out a lot lately which is cool. We tore it up with bickel the past 2 nights. Definately need to take time off from drinking. Feel like ass.

All that we've been doing lately is partying....its been great but its also killing me. Partied with allyson and some of her friends tuesday and thursday night. Then friday with some different ones and tony and tim. Then sat went to the cabin for beer and pizza then to tonys to get wasted and wander around main street. Last night started drinking at 6 with kira and carrie beth then we all went to the wayside for oldies night....so lots of beer lately. Ah well.

Went and talked with some people today. Gonna go down to Detroit next wednesday and thursday to take a physical and the asvab test. Hopefully the asthma wont be a problem with getting in. Keeping my fingers crossed.

ok enough with that stuff. DETROIT LIONS play tonight on monday night football pre-season style. Cannot wait. Make sure you all tune in and watch us crush the rams. My prediction...Lions win 27-17. My main man Roy Williams will have 80 yds receiving and a TD.

Almost a whole year

thats right, I've been single for almost 1 whole year now. This is the longest I've been single in like 5 years. It's nice sometimes and it's not nice sometimes. It's not nice when I want to lay outside with someone special and stare at the stars all night, or hold them for hours while we watch movies. Ah well...someday I'll find her.

went to the bar with Jimmy a few days ago...got really messed up and apparently ended up passing out in my computer chair. Jimmy said when he left at 9:30 I was still sleeping there but I woke up in my bed so at least I eventually made it there. Sat night I slept on the living room floor...dont remember that either. Sunday woke up hung over as balls and actually had to work for some stupid girl so that sucked. Sucked even more when for some reason the hot water wasnt working so I had to take a cold shower hung over.

been doing absolutely nothing lately...watching pre-season football, working, playing madden....thats really about it. Getting kinda boring.

Got my truck back yesterday. That was nice. Lot of money for a few simple wires but I would have never found the problem myself. I'm just happy its done. Thanks to Tony for driving me around.

Saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a few days ago. I really liked it but thought the first one was still better. Definately a must buy when it comes out on DVD though.

Went to the bar last night with Tony to meet up with Molly and Kerin. Got piss drunk then came back here and went to the neighbor girls place with Tony. Overall a pretty good night...got to bed around 4 or so I think...not really sure. Woke up with the same clothes on and my shoes on.

Nothing really fun or exciting to report....just working every day and well thats about it I suppose.

Sun gonna shine in my backyard someday........

1. Is attractive, cause let's face it....you can't date someone you aren't attracted to.
2. Likes laying outside looking at the stars.
3. Likes country music....a lot....
4. Likes sports and can at least tolerate my obsession for them.
5. Has at least some of the same political views as I do.
6. Likes to wear my sweatshirt and have my arm around her while sitting around a bonfire.
7. Likes to party and have a good time but also likes to stay in and relax and watch movies and stuff.
8. Has eyes I can fall in love with.
9. Has a mind of her own and can make her own decisions.
10. Has a good sense of humor and understands my sometimes sarcastic humor.
11. Gets along well with my family.....that can be hard at times.
12. Gets excited and it brightens up her day when she sees me.
13. Likes camping and doing stuff outdoors.
14. Isn't materialistic and doesn't always have to look what she thinks is her best. I'm gonna think she looks great in her pj's....so she really doesn't have anything to worry about.

Cabin Trip '05

alright its been forever so here's the update

got back from the shirkey cabin saturday afternoon after 9 days of partying and just an amazing time. Did lots of fishing, lots of playing horseshoes, darts, washers, boccee ball, razorbee, beer pong, putt-putt golf, hill climbing, sailing, swimming.....just fucking awesome. First day we picked fishing teams for the week and me and shirkey were off into the marsh. Shirk catches a 12 inch Pike so we celebrate by "taking the edge off." For the next hour or so we couldnt seem to do anything right except laugh our asses off. We were casting in the weeds, getting snagged on everything...just horrible news but it was great. Got really sunburnt and felt like shit the rest of the night but ah well. Didnt stop us from having a great time. Rest of the week was great...did all of the events mentioned above, and went to the bar nearly every night. D-Money and I dominated beer pong once again going like 5-0 even beating mama and papa shirk. It was an amazing 9 days that I didnt want to end. Thanks to Dan, D-Money, Doug, Bean, Jared, Jonathan, Sars, and lucas (if thats not everyone sorry, I'm tired) for a great time. Cabin Trip '05 fuckin rocked!

Think I figured out whats wrong with my truck....but I'm not a mechanic. Tried fixing it myself but didnt go so well. Ah well will have to wait until I get back from vacation to take it in.

2 more days of work and I'm GONE! Gone for 10 days with nothing to worry about and no way for people to get ahold of me. Cannot wait.

The other night was awesome with Tony, Tom, and Molly. Best part of the night was all of us laying on Tony's roof talking. Quite sure Molly fell asleep up there although she denies it. And contrary to what Tony believes I am not gonna bone that 17 year old...no matter how hot she is.

Been thinking a lot lately about life, love...all that good stuff. I feel as though I am rushing to try and find a girl that I think is "the one" which is definately the wrong approach cause I definately have not found that girl yet. I should not be rushing to try and find a relationship. I'm young and single....thats what most people my age want isnt it? With all that said I dont think there's a girl my age mature enough to have a serious relationship anyway so I'll just have to wait. So until I do find that special girl I might as well live it up as Mt. Pleasant's most eligible bachelor.

It's definately been a while since I've updated this. I havent updated because I thought it was bad luck to do so while the Pistons were in the NBA Finals but after last night's loss I guess I can write in it again. So I'm 2 out of 3 with my new pregame rituals. Based on my headband theory we should win the next 2.... we're 2 for 3 when I wear the headband the entire game so hopefully my theory is correct.

Did absolutely nothing today and it was great. Now I dont have a day off until next monday with friday and sunday possibly working doubles...it will be some extra cash for the cabin trip though so we'll see. I never work sundays but callie asked me to work in the morning for her and i'm not gonna pass that up...cause it will be like 100 bucks. I dont wanna work that much but I will have 10 days off soon to party with all the guys!

On a brighter note I finally completed my quest for a pair of sunglasses today. After taking the edge off with jimmy me, him, and jizzanus walked to 7-11 to get slurpees and I ended up getting a pair from there. Pretty pumped up..a little bigger than I'd usually buy but I'm sweet so anything I wear will be cool haha.

Still no word on Ol' Glory......I miss my baby...she's been in the shop way too long....

Game 2 tonight is a must win for the Pistons. Only 2 teams have ever come back from a 2-0 deficit in the NBA Finals and won it all. The Pistons must play like this is game 7. Also, after they win we will have gained home court advantage with games 3,4,5 at the palace. Damnit I cant wait....9:00
If I were coaching the Pistons we would never be down a game. I mean christ...its simple. POST UP SHEED AND TAYSHAUN!!!!!! The Spurs dont have anybody that can match up with either of them so we should be running our offense mainly through those two and Rip. They need to get more looks at the basket. Our backcourt shouldnt be taking 50 shots per game. I mean Rip needs to score his 25 pts and Chauncey needs his 15-20 and those guys get it done in the clutch but we need 20pts out of Sheed and at least 15 out of Tay. Thats our style, we spread the ball around. So come on LB coach the team like you're supposed to!

Oh boy I'm pumped!! This was exactly what our Detroit Pistons needed. Everyone played a great game. Everyone. Wow I cant wait until monday. I got let out of work early today to watch the game because I was going crazy and probably annoying everyone with talking about the Pistons. Ah well, it worked. Had an awesome night...Pistons won and forced a game 7, got some phone calls that just made my night all that much better, and played some Madden. Also, Sheed is 3 for 3 with his guarantees. Props to Ben Wallace who showed Shaq exactly why he received Defensive player of the year. Defense wins championships and we showed that tonight by holding the Heat to their lowest playoff point total in the history of their franchise. Cant wait until we light up our human victory cigar monday night (putting Darko in).

Pistons will win game 7 monday night in Miami.

yeah, tough loss tonight. Thats all I'm gonna say about that.

This past sunday I went to the Shirk's cabin. It was great. Got wasted with the Shirks and their friends. They made me a cake and all sang to me...that was probably one of the nicest things anybody has ever done for me. It was nice and relaxing there. Sat around the bonfire at the end of the night and just looked at the stars and bullshitted with dan and jared. It was great. It would have only been better if I had someone to lay down with and enjoy the night...

Last night got tore up. Drank a lot...not nearly as much as jimmy though. Thanks to everyone that came over. It was a blast.

Played some ball with tony today...didnt dunk on him like I said I was going to but next time....then me, tony, and dan threw the football around for an hour or so. It was nice to spend the whole day outside playing sports. Thats about all lately. I'll probably update more often..cause I get bored a lot.

been a while since I last updated....

worked all week....had a fucked up weekend. Drank some beers, played some drinking games while jammin to country music all night. Didnt get to bed until 8:30am or so last night...then tried to sleep all day but that didnt really work out. Then I had to work 11pm - 4am. Not a bad night though. All the drunk people I had to deal with were pretty funny. Drunk girls grabbing my arm while I'm trying to take their orders was hilarious...dont really get that from the old people on swing shift. Now I'm exhausted and gonna try and catch sportscenter before I fall asleep. Night y'all.
